Like I'm a super avid reader and people never assume that to the point where on three separate occasions in my life I've been in a bookstore, three separate strangers have come up to me and said, Bob, I did not expect to see you in here.

I say I'm buying something for a friend.

Tommy.

Nah, it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

Nah, I don't care.

Also, I actually think if anybody kind of actually listens to our radio show, it's a pretty accurate reflection of me.

Like, I'm very emotional.

And, like, if you actually listen, like, I cried pretty much at least once a week on that show.

And so...

I think it would be different if I presented a different persona publicly, but I think it's pretty close to kind of what I am.

And I also realize everyone walks around this world thinking, oh, what does everybody think about me?

Oh, what does everybody think about me?

And the truth is no one's fucking thinking about you.

Not one person.

And you might hear that and think it's depressing and it's not.

It's the most liberating thing ever.

Just go and live your life assured that literally not one person is thinking about you.

Yeah, I think I'm very lucky in getting to work with Carrie because when you have someone as talented as her and as big a star as her, the radio station leave you alone.

And it means we just get to make the show that we're proud of.
