We will often not always, but often sort of then test whether it's the rate of immigration or whether it's as as Claire points out, you know, the fact that it's being weaponized and it's not or or it needs to be higher rates of immigration or it's been used as a as a political football.

For m almost all voters that respond on rate of immigration, it is because they think it's too high.
And in focus groups it's also very clear as well.
And we often um, depending on who the client is or some political poll, and we've done this particularly in the last election

So it's not, you know, it's not sort of a wild idea.

when they do open ended, they can actually put it in their own words.
And it could be a roundabout at the end of their street that is the most important issue to them in this federal election.
And they'll write that.
Um but typically, you know, they will put it in their own words, which is good because it's top of mind how they express it.
And then we need to code it accordingly.
So for many it might be rate of immigration.
For some it might be the politicization of immigration.
So we can code it accordingly.
I I think on balance Jess Wilson and the coalition will win government, but I can also see pathways for Labour to hold on to government, including majority government.
They do have eleven seats they can lose.
