That brings a net of forty-five seats, which is a majority.

So they're currently at fifty-six.

Eleven seats is a lot.

The other reason why I wouldn't rule out Ben Carroll sneaking in is because

With all three parties, One Nation, Coalition and Labour Party polling in the twenties, uh the coalition is at thirty percent, which is a good number in the current context, but in no way does that guarantee you a win.

Uh, if they can come in the top two in most seats, preferences from the third party, whether that be Labor or One Nation, will probably get the coalition elected.

So that could actually win very handsomely.

But when the vote is so fragmented and if the coalition were two points lower in some seats and one nation

And Labor were at the top two, well then they're eliminated.

Coalition are eliminated.

So their preferences will then elect um the winner, and that will probably be um one nation.

So it's very difficult to predict at this stage where it's going to go.

And we also don't know, you know, how the different leaders will respond in the campaign teams.

I think Ben Carroll's got off to a flying start.

Uh he couldn't differentiate himself any more than what he is with Gacinta Allen and Daniel Andrews.

On just about everything.

Everything.

And, you know, um I think he's gonna roll out a major change every week.

So he's already done

He's floated the idea of uh redirecting the suburban rail loop funding.
