And certainly it was one that I was really interested in.

But then I realized at one point that there was just one ingredient I was lacking after being in, you know, band after band in high school and college.

And that ingredient was talent.

So in its absence, I became a lifelong appreciator of music and someone who still occasionally plays it.

And it's been a thread throughout my life.

And by the way,

an incredible connector among people and among countries.

I can't tell you the number of times when I've been in a difficult situation with another country, arguing over something with a profound difference, and yet we could connect over music.

It has a way of taking down barriers, whether they're language, whether they're culture, whether they're religion, or whether they're geography, it's incredibly powerful.

I just love it.

Have you ever played with other world leaders?

I played with some of my foreign minister counterparts over the years.

And let's just say that, thank God, it wasn't recorded.

It is, it was, but it was also wonderful moments of just human connection.

And we need more of that.

You know, this is the thing that the Devils need more than anything else.

That is correct.

Look, I'm a fanatic of the blues in general.

And I got into that a long time ago.

And it's never left me.
