That was certainly my Ironman journey.
I started out doing one hour a day, running 10 miles, then going up to 20, then increasing the 20 miles to include a 50-mile bike ride.
Then, you know, and you can't do that all at once.
You have to push through barriers.
Yeah, exactly.
In a tiered approach.
And you can do that in business.
I've been doing that lately too when I have a problem that's too big to comprehend.
I break it into parts and I do one part at a time.
And by the time I'm three-fifths of the way done, I can see the end.
When I'm in the first fifth, no way.
It seems impossible.
But I think anybody out there can break something into parts.
Exactly.
That's where it starts.
And without that, you can't go anywhere.
The physical injuries can come and go and you can get over those, but only if you have the right mindset.
And when you're getting up at three in the morning to work out, whatever kind of cardio it is, you have to have the right mindset.
