All of those narratives are negative to get us to not do it.
And again, that doesn't feel like an accident.
No,
Yeah, and I love Pilates and some of the stuff that is lower weight.
And I also watch my trainer, who, by the way, is the strongest woman in Washington State, deadlifting for...
500 pounds.
And I'm just like, it's so fucking cool.
It's so great.
And as soon as I think you're around that for the first time, you know, it's all of the cliches.
It's like representation matters.
As soon as you start seeing women build strength, you're like, I want that too.
So one of the things that I wanted to chat with you about, so I have done bar three for like 11 years and I love it.
And one of the things they've started doing over the past couple of years is they do a strength specific class.
So it's heavier weights.
It's, you know, slower up and down.
It's less of a bar class and it's more of a strength training class.
And something really interesting happens, Dr. Stacey, because what I have realized going to the gym with my trainer is that we are pushing to failure.
We are pushing these weights, and we should get to the point where they are too heavy after a certain amount of reps, and I do have to take a break.
And yet often I am in these classes and I see I'm the only one taking breaks.
Maybe one other person, two other people who are actually, like, the weights are too heavy and they have to set them down.
