Masculine environments that ended up being pretty toxic.
And we were both like, we want to treat our people the way we wish we were treated.
So we offer unlimited PTO.
We shut down the entire company for a week every quarter where everybody knows like we're offline.
We are out of office message is like, Hey, we'll get back to you.
Nothing's urgent.
Like we're not curing cancer.
We're not putting out fires.
This is really important work, but like we will get back to you next Monday.
We do paid menstrual leave at our company because menstruation is huge.
Which we do.
It's so important because everybody who works on our team right now is women.
And like, that's a serious thing.
