It's what we've seen most teams around the league do, even the Oilers.

And Devon Levi, he's a young goalie, number one.

I get all that.
But if you're going to take a flyer on a goalie, and I think acquiring him was part of a pick swap, this is the type of bet you make.
Maybe he's just a good goalie.
Maybe he's a journeyman goalie.
We don't really know.
But let me juxtapose this against the Buffalo Sabres, where he was acquired from.
The Sabres and the Oilers, they're almost like brethren over the last decade or so.
Yes, the Oilers have been much more competitive, but these two teams have been hunting for a goalie.
I think I was in high school when the last time either of these teams had a goalie.
They took a flyer on Alex Lyon, who was another kind of like journeyman, a little older than Devon, of course, but
More of a journeyman goalie that, you know, is like, oh, we'll take another shot on another journeyman.
