His family didn't have a lot of money.
So one year he was going to play baseball and we found out that you need to have your own blow and your own bad.
I was like, well, family's not buying for it.
So he didn't play.
Yeah.
So I just liked it from a young age.
Like when I was a kid, they could, you know, put a football and a baseball and a whatever in the crib.
And I would just always pick up the little thumb baseball and throw it.
And so I started playing with my dad in the front yard when I was a year and a half old, two years old.
And my dad was a chemical engineer, so he thinks about things in a very scientific way.
So he's like, well, I don't know baseball, but my kid likes baseball, so I'm going to try to figure it out.
And then I looked at it like, I like baseball, I want to get better, I'm going to try to figure it out.
And then we just kind of tried to figure it out for...
25 years.
And got pretty good at it.
I got really lucky on a couple things.
One, I knew exactly what I wanted to do from a super young age.
Most people don't figure it out until later in life.
So I was lucky on that.
And I got lucky that I had parents that were super involved in my life.
