People were fortunate.
I always dreamed it.
I dreamed of it, but it was like those players on the field are aliens.
Like they're superstars.
I'm just a little kid.
Like I know I can't ever, it wasn't realistic.
It was like, I'm never going to be them.
I just want to like make my high school team.
But then I made my high school team and I was one of the best pitchers there.
And I got a scholarship to go play D1 baseball.
And then I pitched in the College World Series in 2010 and dominated the best players in the country.
And I was like, oh, if I'm one of the best college players, then I probably could be a good pro.
And then it started becoming realistic.
But up until 2010, it wasn't even... I wanted to do it, of course, but it just wasn't a tangible thing.
So I played, I didn't play Little League because Little League is an organization.
I played Pony League, which is slightly different rules, but basically the same thing.
But yeah, I played that all the way up.
And now kids don't even play that.
They play like travel ball mostly.
