It makes no sense for them to do that.
The one thing that I do like about that they've done this offseason, even if I don't agree with the contracts, they've clearly identified their guys and they went and they got them.
Did they overspend to get them?
Maybe, but they went and got them.
They said, well, you know what?

That can has beat the hell.
What we are going to do is we're going to go get the guys that we want, right?
And so they did it.

Why stop now?
Why stop right here at the finish line when you can add that final starter that you want to put into the mix?
And to Jovan's point, perhaps the answer is that they're not.
Maybe the answer is that it's all a smokescreen and they're trying to get the best deal that they can.
I mean, I know we've been doing a lot of letter grade stuff that would take me from like a B B minus to a, to an a minus say in terms of with the only quibble being the contracts that would put a lot of the puzzle pieces in a spot where they'd be, they'd be fitting together.
