But I do think to your point.
That it's encouraging to this lineup and probably to John Schneider and and everybody that they have been able to do this without their two top hitters really hitting the cover off of the ball on a regular basis.
So that does bode well for them down the stretch, specifically in those hot dog days of August.
You're just grinding through the season trying to get to September, that's really gonna play in their favor.
It was so fun to be around them again.
And, you know, I I think that it's interesting because you can never count the rays out, right?
I mean, they did start they had a rough start to the season.
They were not good at the beginning of the year.
There was so much uncertainty surrounding that franchise, not just with the stadium, but then the hurricane happening, them having to move into a totally new stadium.
That's chaos.
That's hell.
But they have pulled out of that after a really rough, rough start.
They were playing well below 500 baseball and now um they're threatening to take over the top of the East.
Um
And I think what you look at with the Rays is you look at their rotation.
Their rotation has been able to stay healthy and they have been able to have a solid, steady um five man rotation, which usually the rays don't have.
They usually get bit by the injury bug or they throw out an opener or they have all they don't do that now.
Um and the health of that rotation has really helped them.
Uh, you know, their offense has been a lot better um throughout this stretch as well.
So the Rays are just doing what the Rays do.
