And I think that people are stepping up and it doesn't matter whether you're a Democrat or Republican, doesn't matter whether you're Muslim, Christian or Jewish.
Everybody is affected by this and it's going to take your job regardless of your background.
Well, there's a question.
Let's slow this down, because you're getting into the exact right material here, which is just how different would it have been with nuclear weapons if the entire American stock market had been making money from, and every American and every elite ruling class had been making money from scaling up the number of nuclear weapons in the world?
It might have been much harder to coordinate that outcome.
That's what you're pointing to.
I think that what we're facing is very similar to the global financial crisis of 2008,
where essentially you have a bunch of banks that were in a race for, well, if I don't sell the credit default swaps and these high-risk financial instruments, I'll lose to the other bank that will.
And the ratings agency played along.
And so suddenly everyone is getting, well, it's good for GDP growth because we're getting these new financial instruments.
It's this new technology that's so great.
But of course, it was embedded with all of this risk
And our whole economy became based on that.
And then you end up with this kind of crisis.
And I think there's a similar thing here, which is that all of the tech companies are basically intentionally making the entire economy dependent on them and then making it so that they're too big to fail again.
But I will say that it's not true that we haven't succeeded with social media a little bit.
Now, obviously, we haven't done nearly as much as we'd like, but just take a look at the facts.
We call it the pro-human movement that's already happening.
which is France, Germany, Greece, Australia, Denmark, I can go on this, I think it's 25% of the world's population, Indonesia, states in India, if you actually add it all up, it's close to 20%, something like that of the world's population, is banning social media for kids under 16.
That is a move that is a pro-human move.
