I think it comes down to the fact that Trump is unwilling to accept.

That he's essentially doesn't have any escalatory options and that

This kind of knockout blow that he's looking for simply doesn't exist.

And as a result, he is taking increasingly desperate measures and rhetoric.

I mean, some of the tweets that are coming out right now is just not healthy, to be frank with you.

Uh, and he's unwilling to accept it.

But I think there is a reality, and I think we will probably reach that reality relatively soon, in which there's gonna have to be a very clear decision made.

Are we going to further escalate over something that no one believes the US can achieve through escalation anyways?

Or are we just going to be able be forced to bite the bullet on this one, get the best possible outcome on the strait, and then shift the focus to the nuclear issue?

I suspect that that is the path that we will eventually go.

The question is, how much more false threats, uh bluffs, escalation, actual strikes, more people getting killed will occur before we reach that point?

And it is there something else that may happen in between that potentially shifts the uh direction altogether?

About how Zelensky was trying to sell the idea that Ukraine could come into all of this, enter the Iran war, uh, merge the Ukraine and the Iran war theaters as a way of helping the US uh by opening up a new front against the Iranians.

They shot a

uh long range miss uh drones at an Iranian ship in the Caspian Sea a week ago.

Um, and if you listen carefully to what Zelensky has been saying, he's been trying to put forward this narrative that these two wars are at the end of the day the same because Russia and Iran are on the same side and we should then treat the two of them the same.

Trump seems to thankfully have not fallen for that because that would directly bring the US into a direct confrontation with a nuclear weapon state.

So there's still, you know, unu-predictable events that could happen.

But if none of those happen,
