wealthy uh people and I fight for everyday people.
Well, I mean, we've seen this line uh for a while now.
Uh, you know, they've tried to do referendums here in Maine and it's failed and things like that.
But but again, it comes back to you know, what what is actually affecting uh everyday Mainers.
You know, things like health care, which we are losing in the state, you know, or prescription drugs, child care, you know, elder care, in home and and nursing homes, I mean housing, property
Tax reform and and you know, reproductive rights.
I mean, these are all economic issues, and you know, there's more too, but they don't want to talk about those those issues because they know that they suck on 'em.
Uh just as, you know, clear as can be.
And and the only thing they actually care about is trying to divide Mainers so that we don't actually pay attention to what's actually going on.
They're giving income tax cuts to the wealthiest people in this country.
country and it's on our backs.
And and in this case here, I'm not going to demonize my my neighbors in Maine.
I'm not going to do that.
Uh and and so yeah, I mean, however I vote a river, but this is not something that I'm gonna be willing to um use as a distraction.
Uh again, I I understand what it's like for government to leave you behind, especially when Susan
Collins is in control of it and and I don't want other people to feel like that, um, understanding that uh your elected officials uh don't wanna don't wanna stand up for you.
I mean, I think that's the job of government, fighting for everyone.
And um that's something that Collins has never done.
