I think it was just I made a lot of mechanical adjustments early on and then got hurt and kind of went back to the drawing board about like how I can merge the two and I think this is the best I felt by far like elbow back everything.

I've kind of come into my own and I think gaining weight has helped me a lot recover faster and it's probably the best I felt on a baseball field in a long time.

I didn't go into it thinking, let's try to slow play this so I'm healthy for season.

I think the injury happened.

It was some silver lining just knowing that I would have some time off to fix whatever I needed to fix and then come back and throw however many innings I needed to do.

But it was a blessing in disguise.

It was obviously frustrating when it first happened, but it worked out.

Coming back healthy, having a few more starts, and then just kind of getting into a rhythm for postseason has been super helpful.

I think if you're designing a team and your decisions are based off of one post-season's approach,

I think there's a lot of formulas in place for a lot of teams, especially like an analytical driven team.

I'd hope people don't go, all right, now let's go, just because that happened one time, let's go revamp our whole entire strategy.

I think you can think about it differently.

I think it's not very typical for starters to do what we've done, but I do think

I think it's been well known that quality starting pitching is a huge plus in any sort of post-season match.

I think a high strikeout starting pitcher is huge.

But you've also seen it work on the flip side where relievers come in and dominate all post-season long.

Last year our relievers were crazy.
