So I don't think there's one formula.

I just think it depends.

But I think as a whole, if you put the best team you can together and you make your relievers and your starters good, the room for error is much less.

Yeah, and I think the strategy, I guess, too, you've seen some other teams do it, of taking your starters, you have a one through three, and then taking the rest of them to go to the bullpen.

Just to have some length is pretty helpful.

I think if the starter doesn't do well, having two long guys that you can rely on is probably pretty helpful, but everyone's got their own formula.

I just think, too, in that wild card series, not being able to start, it's like I want to do something.

I pitched a little bit in 18, but it's just the idea to go out there and you just get to adrenaline dump is great.

I was like, that sounds fun.

I can go out and throw hard.

And it was nice to go have that preview the first two innings to know that my adrenaline in that moment was probably going to be the highest it would be all postseason, just having come out of the bullpen.

you get that phone call and you're like already ready to go and i think going out and like the first couple warm-ups throwing with that adrenaline and ripping off everything it was like okay i need to throw it 85 try to just get into the zone and like knowing that kind of helped me i think going into starts to try to manage that like yeah yeah because like you had to make that shift right i mean it's like but it was good he's like oh man i missed just going out and emptying the tank

I mean, I obviously want to be a starter, but I think both are fun.

If they need me to go in the pen, I'm more than happy to do it.

It's a fun time.

It's one of those things, too, with the adrenaline dump, if your timing is good and you can throw it 100%, your stuff is just so elevated.

Just be able to go out and throw 100, it would be great.
