You would think they would know what the goalies are.
But that Trevor Zegers, you watch him come.
The coolest thing, one, he picks up the puck with the strut like I've never seen before.
He's the best player in the world.
And that's what you need because the whole rink's looking at you.
You better be, hey, I want to put on a show.
It's a confidence thing.
But the way...
that I think a lot of the penguins don't do that he does very well is the way he changes his speed, right?
When he picks a puck up, he's like a snail, right?
He slows and then he hits like the top of the circle and then he busts out and he gets the goalie to start backing up because when the goalie's moving,
in the net it's hard for him to drop to his knees or to make a move because he's focused on pushing back right so when you have a guy that changes speeds it kind of screws with the goalie's depth in the net and he's so good at that again he comes to the top of the circle he slows down and then he busts out and then once he's doing that now he picks what he wants to do it's either the fake move or the quick shot because again his the moves he's doing it looks
So simple, so easy, even though there's a lot of thought process behind it.
Um, who was the other guy that went real slow?
Was it Kucherov?
Yeah, he comes in real slow.
And again, that, that like screws with the goalie cause they're so used to everyone doing the same thing.
So when you do slow it down, it helps out so much.
And again, I think the penguins can do a lot better job of changing speeds.
more east-west, getting the goalie to move.
