The AFD is now the uh one and only Conservative uh party uh left in the parliament of uh Mecklenburg Vaupoman.
Um they
made the the they made the run with thirty eight percent, you said it and um
They just vaporized the CDU.
That was the disastrous result for the CDU.
That was the worst result in history of the CDU after the World War Two.
Um, this is
uh this is so crushing on them they don't even know how to react and uh the afd um
was able still was able to make it to number one uh although the whole campaign of all other parties, especially the SPD, the leading party, the uh which is uh having the position of uh or is ruling there um they they they threw everything onto the SPD that said
If you vote for us, you vote against the AFD.
They even didn't explain why they should vote for them.
They just said if you vote for us, it's a vote against the AFD.
So they
uh used this polarization they they focused everything on the spd and so that was
finally destroying the CDU because the rest of the CDU who was voting for the CDU they they were they they they wanted to uh save the country let's say against the AFD and that's why they went to the SPD and this
Even this didn't help to run um uh the vote to get the votes more than the AFT.
So the AFD is now the biggest party in the parliament there.
And they're gonna be the only opposition because the other ones, three left, the SPD, the leftist party and the green ones, they have to make a coalition to even rule the country, otherwise they don't have a majority there.
So this is a
huge success on the uh one side on the on the one hand for the AFD, not as big as in Saxony Anhalt, because they are going to be probably ruling there uh by the end of the year.
