But still the the the main success, what I would say was here to to crush the the the CDU and the party of the Chancellor Mertz.

This happened to many uh pol uh Christian parties uh around Europe and now it is reaching out to Germany, where uh the the Christian parties, uh the conservative parties are crushing their the they're going down and they're getting replaced by uh let's say a right-wing party like the AFD.

And uh you you have to understand the threshold of five percent uh was always

created to to have uh easier coalitions, easier majorities, uh so which cannot be crushed by or cannot be uh ruled by by little parties there with uh uh little percentages so this uh threshold um was very effective for decades um and it was hard to

uh pass this barrier from uh if you come from from uh uh from the start from from zero.

So now uh since the uh CDU is below that that means they don't have any representative any any deputy in the parliament that means also they have no jobs.

uh that means they they don't have any money uh

except they get maybe uh uh some some money from the CDU from the uh from Berlin maybe uh for other campaigns.

So so it is crushing also all the structure.

The people uh I mean uh the the head of of of the CDU he stepped down already uh because uh well there's nothing uh to win there anymore, right?

So um he he stepped down now he's not leading the party anymore.

Mm.

uh and and got replaced by uh a deputy now from the bundestag who's uh also sitting uh right uh in the chancellor right next to the chancellor merz uh so uh th there's uh there's some shift going on in the in the cdu uh and i just recently uh

as it happens, talked to some very close people who used to be very close to the Chancellor.

I cannot drop their names, but they told me we will uh that the Chancellor is not gonna make it till Christmas.
