They're not talking to anybody else.
They're just leafing through what's in the box, and they look, and they're all images from nature, and the poems are deeply immersed in nature.

And people can smell it and can think about it.

I've written poems to the holy grass about how healing it is.
It's a rare grass, so it's lovely for people to find some or take some leaves home.
And then sometimes we do mischievous things like saying, here is a blade of grass.
go out into the garden and find a matching one.
And about half an hour later, people are still looking.
