Yeah, trust me.
When I made the choice to leave, I was like, Oh my god, we are we are Capricorn and we are out here just like resigning.
My husband was like literally, I texted him and I was like, I'm resigning.
And he was like, Trust it, whatever you say.
And I was like, Okay.
I I not that I hated anybody's green light, but of course you have to consult and just I mean, I really did consult him.
I just texted him and told him that was what I was doing.
But nonetheless, and so yeah, I think I was just driven so
hard to a point like the perfect storm like we talked about before between my window passing and the high risk pregnancy and just dealing with COVID and it's a trash bag going to the unit you're fine you got this or making recommendations for patients that I knew needed to go up I knew they needed to go to the hospital or writing letter after letter to nursing managers and everything and just not just getting so much pushback.
You can only get so much pushback for so long before it impacts you as a clinician and the quality of
service that you're providing.
And when I recognized that within myself, I was like, this is not why I went to school for six years.
This is not why I'm the first to graduate in my family.
This is not like the legacy that I'm trying to make.
And that's just my personal experience.
I know many people are extremely happy in their settings, but
When you can really get caps, that was the other thing, to pay a cap.
Like as hard as I work and the ideas that I have and the things that I want to do, I'm not comfortable making the same amount over like 10, 20 years.
And in my case I found out there were C ups making more than me and just, Oh, can you interpret right now?
Hey, tell this person they're unable to eat.
