Is the is the undoing of a lot of GMs.
Rob Blake blew up whatever progress he had made.
by building up that league best prospect pool not that long ago.
By getting impatient.
We've said this going back to even those episodes.
So the very, very first episode when the Dubala trade happened.
I remember us saying that the best move would have been to have done nothing at all and let his players mature and let those draft picks mature and let the team declare itself for whatever it was going to be because the future of what he had was likely brighter than
getting impatient and trying to bring in Dubois and accelerate things, which completely threw off the room, it completely threw off the organization.
We're still dealing with the ramifications of that now.
And
What we're seeing right now.
From Ken Holland, despite the fact that he's got
a a shorter mandate from ownership and from management to win and, you know, get past the first round and do all that.
None of the moves he made lock this team down to anyone for more than a handful of years.
Right?
Like he didn't sign Mason Marchman to a seven year deal.
He didn't sign Tyson Tyson Forester to an eight year deal or what you know, like those are the types of things that an impatient GM does.
When
They they feel like they're they have to do those things.
Every single deal that he signed is either short term or leads to an incredibly tradable asset, which is what he did at the end of last year with guys like Deneau and Fogle and even Perry, who he managed to bring back after the fact.
