with the mites on it the character's like put it in the bin it's horrid it's this idea of how we all view and receive love and what we view and see as joy because for all the characters in this book it's just evolving and changing throughout and it's that that was quite an interesting dynamic between her fighting to take her aunt out of there and her aunt staying I want to stay yeah
As a good read, I am recommending my all-time favourite, The Girl with the Loudon Voice by Abby Darre.
I can't tell you how many times I've reread this book.
It captured my heart when I was younger and has continued to capture my heart throughout the years.
It's set in Nigeria and is following the journey of a 14-year-old girl called Adini.
And she is on the pursuit of education.
And she encounters so many trials and tribulations trying to pursue her education.
And there are so many twists and turns.
And yeah, I think there's not many books in the world that have made me
feel such anger and tears but I want to keep reading but the person's making me laugh as well like there's so much she's an incredibly beautiful and complex character incredible book I think Susie Riddell
Yeah, I know.
And it's interesting hearing it from the voice of that 14-year-old.
As the book goes on, you see and hear her English improving.
And I think that was quite a nice touch from the author to really take you through the journey of experiencing her life through her eyes.
And I thoroughly enjoyed that.
And I think it's a powerful piece of work.
