You would have your tier one countries and your tier two countries.

That hasn't come to fruition.

So apparently

there will be promotion and relegation for the start of the third edition of this nation's championship in 2030.

That's a long, long way away.

It's a long way for there to be little consequences for teams.

It's what I struggle with sometimes with American sports, where you don't have promotion and relegation to a lower league.

The stakes, to me at least, appear lower.

I think what the big teams are doing this year, it's what you alluded to earlier, are using this as a practice ground for the World Cup in 27.

I want to play another clip here, which is, again, from Fiona Hayes.

And she is talking about fan fatigue, but she's very much in favour of this Nations Championship.

It was nice to hear Fiona speak positively there about it.

She's obviously enjoying it, so great for her.

And I get where she's coming from.

You know, if you're a diehard absolute, well, lock yourself in a windowless room with you and your TV.
