I've also started to notice the moments when I feel the most energized and aligned.
These are oftentimes when I'm with people who respect my need for space and allow me to connect on my own terms, or when I'm alone, reflecting, creating,
and letting my energy flow without interruption.
Now, when I walk through crowded streets, I don't feel guilty for keeping my sunglasses on or for avoiding people's eyes.
I know that by doing so, I'm honoring my design and protecting the energy that makes me a projector.
If you're a projector like me, and you've felt overwhelmed by the energy of others, know that you're not alone.
Your gift is your ability to see deeply into others, but that gift comes with a need for boundaries.
It's okay to protect yourself.
It's okay to say no.
Wear your sunglasses.
Avoid eye contact when it feels right.
