Have you ever felt like you're doing everything right?
Working hard, chasing goals, making plans, checking all the boxes you once believed would lead you somewhere meaningful, and yet?
Somewhere underneath it all, you still feel completely lost.
You might be moving forward, staying busy, achieving things, and doing everything you thought you were supposed to do.
But instead of feeling fulfilled, you have this strange sense that you're somehow not actually going anywhere.
Life keeps moving, and so do you.
But deep down, you may feel disconnected from your own direction.
That feeling can be incredibly confusing, especially when there doesn't seem to be an obvious reason for it.
Sometimes, from the outside, your life might even look perfectly fine.
You may be productive, responsible, successful in certain areas, and constantly trying to improve yourself while internally feeling as though you've somehow lost touch with the person you are and the life you actually want to live.
In human design, feeling lost is often not a sign that something is wrong with you, that you have failed, or that you simply haven't tried hard enough.
In many cases, it can be a sign that you have spent so much time following external expectations.
advice, pressure, and ideas about how life is supposed to work, that you have gradually moved away from your own natural way of making decisions and navigating the world.
You may be trying to run your life according to a decision-making system that was never really designed for you.
This is where strategy and authority can offer such an interesting perspective.
Rather than constantly trying to figure everything out with the mind, force clarity, chase the next goal, or look outside yourself for the answer, human design invites us to pay attention to the way we are naturally designed to move through life and make decisions.
When we consistently ignore that process, we can find ourselves working incredibly hard to create a life that, in the end, doesn't actually feel like our own.
What makes this even more interesting is that the experience of feeling lost does not look the same for everyone.
Each energy type has its own way of becoming disconnected from itself, and each type can fall into different patterns when trying to force life instead of moving with its natural energy.
