It could have backfired against him and a lot of people could go against him, but a lot of people are rallying behind him and they're actually talking about these issues now which need to be talked about.
One thing we can't deny, Pep's a quality coach.
He's probably one of the best in the world at coaching, but I don't think he's handled this well.
You can't just keep telling us that it's a joke between... Yeah, it is a joke between friends, but it shouldn't be a joke in the first place.
And then you're not supposed to go and post this out for other people to...
Because once you post this and start talking about this, it gives other people the right to also make those same jokes.
And then they'll say, oh, can't you take a joke?
So I just don't think that, you know, it's right.
What he's saying, I don't agree with either.
And I don't think they've done enough as a club, you know, to really address it.
I think that's the only way to make a change, really, because it's easy for us as black people to just come and keep talking.
But to make a real stand, you need other guys to come out and say, you know, this isn't right.
And that's the only way you're really going to have change through unity.
There's no point in just having the black people coming out and saying that they feel aggrieved by certain situations.
I think the other white players should feel aggrieved by other people making these kind of jokes because
It's not funny.
Sometimes even in a dressing room, other guys will laugh, but that player might not find it funny.
But because you're in a setting like that, you have to just laugh it off, even though you might not want to laugh these things off.
But those kind of things, you can't joke about those things with me.
You cannot.
