But they are outsmarting their opponents, according to some people here, and are delivering world-class football.

It's a moment of immense pride, and I think it's going to reshape the image of Cape Verde across the world.

If people only knew Cape Verde for tourism, now they have another reason to look deeper and see the football exploits that this team is garnering.

Of course, people believe that Cape Verde still has much to do in terms of football development, but their participation at the World Cup could just be a leverage to boost local football.

I mean, it was a dream come true for Vosinia playing in the presence of his mum.
