And we have done nothing well since then.

I could even just use the 80s and say 46 years later, you saying stepping up now and where we are across this nation trying to do this is a huge step in the fact that we should have addressed this a long time ago.

So I just, I think it's important to talk about how we got here and the history of what we're doing here and why this is so relevant.

My only question or concern, it's not a concern, but I think where we are, I'm always talking about proactive and reactiveness.

And what we're doing now is more of reactiveness because we're trying to deal with folks like in the system.

And I think

You know, I hadn't seen in there, but the proactive part of this and what can we do to really recognize a lot of what we have in our population of citizens.

And I want to just go kind of one step further because as a 68 baby in the 80s being my teenage years,

You know, we had this pandemic that ran through called crack cocaine, and I just want to be real about it because we had a lot of births that happened after that.

And what we're dealing with now is just really a compounding issue of a lot of issues upon issues.

It doesn't make these children or these folks bad people.

It just means we should be addressing what you're doing here now.

And I like that this is a national issue.

because whatever we're doing, whatever Fairfax is doing, whatever Loudon is doing, whatever Orlando, Florida is doing, which is where I'm from, this needs to be spread throughout every county, city, town, and the nation so that we can actually get back to what we were attempting to do in the early days, which is take care of our most vulnerable.

So not a question, just a statement.
