Like, if it gets so out of hand that I'm crying at work, I'm leaving, because I'm not going through that again.

And in 2024, I really, like, I enjoyed the organization I worked for, and I really loved the team that I worked for.

But about six months before I quit, they got acquired.

And I think we all know what acquisitions can do to businesses.

And my boss was under a lot of stress.

She got really, really deep into the weeds of micromanaging.

And I hold no resentment for her for that.

I worked there for over two years and I loved having her as my manager.

But the stress she was under was trickling down really badly.

And the pressure on me hit a breaking point.

And I was realizing that my content creator income was eclipsing my salary.

And so I was like, I don't need this.

I like literally don't need this anymore.

So but I was still really hesitant to quit.

So I talked to my husband and I was like, what if all of my sponsorships dry up?

What if I never get another sponsorship again?

And he was like, I don't really need your money.

Like literally those were his exact words.

Yeah.

He was like, we'll be fine.
