And often there is also the option to get a support letter from your bank to take your super out.
So that's normally only in the case of a mortgage.
It's quite a process.
So financial counsellors, we're not big fans of people taking their super out, very much an option of last resort.
But if you are in a dire situation in your bank and you can show that apart from this overdue amount, you can maintain your mortgage, your bank can come back with a letter that you can take to your super fund to take some of your super out.
So that's just a surface level of some of the options that a financial counsellor might work through with you.
