Before we wrap up, is there anything else you wanted to leave listeners with today?
The other sticky note that I have on my laptop screen at work is a quote and it says, people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care.
So if someone is sharing with you part of their story,
my best advice is to just listen and then ask questions.
Okay, like, what have you tried?
What are you thinking you want to do?
You know, as humans, it's in our nature to try and solve problems, especially when they are from people that we love.
It's inherent, we can't help it.
And so really just letting someone know
holding space for someone and letting them know that you care without jumping in to solve the problem straight away is really, really powerful tool.
And you'll find that it increases the quality of your relationships massively.
You know, sometimes people just want to whinge about their relationship.
They don't want advice about it or about their work situation.
And that would be, it's so, so, so important for money.
Money is so sensitive.
It shouldn't be, but it is.
And so really, um,
hold hold that conversation gently in your hands and um yeah just be really careful about jumping in with with advice if that's not what the person wants and you can ask them um you know do you need me to listen or would you like me to give you options um and that in itself is really powerful
But yeah, keep talking about money.
