So if you know what yoked is, yoked is when you put two animals next to each other and they have the little thing in their mouths and you pull it and it tugs them whichever way you want to go.

So if you're yoking yourself to something else, then that's going to start leading you and directing you and where you're going to go.

So they bound themselves to it and it led them to the table of the dead.

A yoke ties those two things together.

So they move as one and you can become like whatever you're yoked to.

So the question I had to ask myself today, I literally read this this morning and added this in last minute.

What am I still tied to?

Because

Sometimes even after God forgives us, we're going to stay yoked to that old identity.

We keep introducing ourselves by our worst chapter.

When someone asks, tell me about yourself, that's your first thing that you think of.

We stay bound to the shame like it's a person that we owe something to.

And I can tell you this, you don't owe anything to the devil at all.

Jesus stands there the whole time saying, take my yoke.

My burden is light.

You're going to be bound to something.

So you need to choose either the way of who you used to be or the one who's already carried it for you.
