And then in chapter 3, he says, night and day earnestly, begging God for the chance to see their faces again and build up whatever is still.

You have to put this into context, right?

So we have to remember that he was driven away from this place where he just raised these baby disciples.

And he's like so proud of them and he's nurturing them and loves them.

And then he's like, I have to leave right now.

So he's worried about them.

So what is he doing?

He's praying for them constantly, earnestly.

And night and day, the man, he cannot be without the people he loves.
