So he holds them up before God around the clock instead and says, I can't be with them, but I know you can.

So please, Lord, save these people that I love so much.

And that same God that was available to Paul, he's available to you right now.

For every child that you can't fix, for every situation that you can't control, for every heart that was wandering around, only God can reach some of those things.

And so you just have to raise them up to God and surrender them.

And that's exactly what Paul did.

Paul surrendered the people of Thessalonica to God and said, God...

Take care of them.

Bring them joy.

Bring them peace.

Protect them.

You hold them up night and day.

And sometimes it feels like it's all you can do because sometimes it is all you can do.

And that's okay because that's not my last resort.

If all I can do is pray for my kids, then that is the best thing that I should have been doing in the first place anyways.
