But we know that that's not what the Bible tells us.

We know that God says something different to us.

We know there's freedom in here.

That's where the repentance comes in.

And the repentance is the only one of the three that can actually set you free.

Repentance isn't feeling terrible about yourself.

It's turning.

Turning away from the old thing and turning to God.

In 2 Corinthians, Paul says it pretty plainly.

Godly sorrow leads to repentance and leaves you free with no regret.

But worldly sorrow just brings death.

So there's two sorrows.

There's one that turns you to God and there's one that puts you down.
