Um that that didn't sit well with them how their season ended last year and because they've got such a veteran group of uh of guys returning from that team, uh I think there is kind of a collective motivation drawn uh uh from from that experience.
Um but obviously they have been, as you mentioned, so disciplined in kind of being like, today's the day, we you know, if we're gonna achieve the goals that we want
But they've been very good at it and uh they they cite it as a as a um a feature, not a bug, right, of this team.
And so uh I I I think that they're going to attempt to just do the exact same thing that they've been doing all year long.
Uh they have seems to do a very good job of that from a mental standpoint, right?
resetting every single day because they've had some games, whether it's the emotional highs of a walk-off win and how many walk-off wins have they had this year, just a ridiculous amount, or the emotional lows of a walk-off loss, which we saw several of on the last road trip, right?
So they've done a very good job of showing up the next day like uh neither of those things affected them too too terribly much.
So um they are going to keep doing that and uh I think they want to get back to the play
playoffs and and and go much farther than they did last year.
I I got dropped off uh at a place to get a sandwich for lunch that was two blocks from my hotel.
I took it to the I walked it over to the hotel and I was already sweating through my shirt.
So uh Florida South Florida is not disappointing.

Yeah, you finally got a uh a low scoring one of these Cubs Brewers games after uh some have some big run totals in the first three.
But uh I think Craig Council kind of brought it up.
It's like these are the kind of games that, you know, you play at the end of the season, right?
The the most meaningful ones, uh whether it's down the stretch or i in the playoffs, uh, you know, a two one pitcher's duel is uh you know, with one big hit and and and one mistake, you know, that's kind of uh the the story of a of a playoff.
Type game, isn't it?
I think you know, with with how big the the Brewers lead is in the central and obviously the it's not it's not over yet mathematically, but you know, i I think the most important thing is, hey look, Kevin Gosman is doing that, he could do that again come October.
