I'll take a hot take and disagree with all three of you.

I don't view this as capitulation, and I don't mind that the left does view it as capitulation.

What I view this as is sort of like, you know, dad comes home and says, I'm taking mom's position, and now I'm here.

Some people might say, well, that's capitulation.

He's like seeding to, no, I would say that you probably want to put the best person in there to avoid the bad PR that they've gotten right now.

And had they done it properly and effectively, then you might've avoided this PR disaster to begin with.

When you have Chrissy Noem coming out and facilitating the argument that they're lying through their teeth about what's going on, you gotta do something.

Homan should have been there from the get-go, and I don't see this as letting Frey and Walls off the hook at all.

Their beds might be made, and now you get someone in there who's gonna really bring down the hammer.
