No, in my house it was like the way that people used the radio.

It was just on all the time.

Yeah.

And also it sort of – the thing about it that was good is that sometimes TV got – there was nothing to watch and you ended up watching something you never were going to watch because you couldn't turn the TV off.

And that's how you end up going like, huh, I didn't know about this wildlife show or whatever.

You sort of ended up watching things that you weren't going to watch otherwise.

In my grandmother's house when I was a kid, I was not in charge.

That's why I got to watch a lot of soap operas when I was a kid.

I actually wrote about this in my subsection recently.

There would be blocks of TV where I got the first couple blocks, and then she got the next couple.

I wrote about Friday night when I was a kid was like,

Incredible Hulk, Dukes of Hazzard, and then Dallas.

And we would just sit there, and she would watch the first two with me, and then I'd watch the last one with her.

And then when Hulk got canceled, it was Falcon Crest and then Dallas.

So, yeah, there would be like you sort of like everybody got their block of the television.
