And he went into our bathroom, grabbed this red bottle, and was like, I'll just use some of this, and squirted it directly into his eyes.
Uh-oh.
Which means that he then had to spend 10 or 15 minutes with his eyes under a faucet running water over them to try to get the acid out.
So don't do not.
Not use this directly in your eyes.
Make sure you let it sit for the full six to eight hours.
Not all contact solution is meant to go directly in your eyes.
That's the point of the story.
