Yeah, go ahead.
They don't understand this.
But every time Black people talk about our journey in this country, we're told, forget about it, or you're being too sensitive.
No, we haven't been sensitive enough.
And it was somebody who said, this is not my quote, but somebody else said, that this country is lucky that Black people want justice and not revenge.
That Black people always ran towards justice and not revenge.
We've always said we wanna be treated fairly and equally and give us what's old, because you're not giving us nothing that's not old.
And we love this country more than it loves itself.
But yet constantly we are reminded of how this country and certain leaders and yes, I'm going to say the country because this is collective.
Again, it's easy to point the finger at President Donald J. Trump and we should.
We absolutely should.
But this is so much bigger than him.
It's so much more insidious than he than him.
And even when I think about what happened to you and other journalists, I mean, so far, tell me if I'm wrong, but only two journalists were arrested.
Right.
