Just another day here at the Nat.
It's another Friday Nooner.
Nothing exciting.
Yeah, we found out yesterday morning.
It is an exciting opportunity for us.
Our general manager, Alan Bailey, has been here for 20 years, and this is the first time it's happened for us to have an MLB rehab assignment in those 20 years.
There may be some historians out there that know more than I do that it's happened before, but not in the last 20 at least.
And, you know, we've had some Hall of Famers come through here, like a Sammy Sosa or Brooks Robinson or even Marcus Stroman and players like that, but they've always been on their way up, not a Hall of Famer.
They will indeed have to do that.
So, yeah, we had about 1,500 tickets left yesterday morning, and those tickets went in less than two hours once the news broke.
Yeah, it's been an exciting week overall.
This space opened up on Tuesday night.
We've been waiting for it for a couple of years now.
But yeah, Canadian Club has come on board as our title sponsor of this deck.
And the biggest news that I think a lot of fans don't know yet is that anybody with a ticket to the game can come up and enjoy this beautiful view and enjoy some cocktails, enjoy some ready-to-drinks from Canadian Club, and enjoy a great afternoon at the ballpark.
Yeah, we looked at it originally.
Our original plans was just to make this more corporate space.
But that was our we said we don't have enough space for fans to mingle.
You look at what the Blue Jays have done in Toronto.
They've done a phenomenal job.
