The market seems concerned for sure.
I mean, if you look at what's happened so far in July, you've seen this massive unwind that you alluded to, like with South Korea, for example, down 30%, but also US-based AI companies, specifically semiconductors, selling off significantly.
And I think the news out of China
that Rebecca was talking about with these new models and the new data points that have come out, kind of came out at the perfect time to hit these stocks because the U.S.
stocks had kind of gone parabolic.
You had seen the semiconductor index up 80%, for example, off the lows in the second quarter of this year.
And so the market's understandably getting a little bit concerned because the whole focus is so different.
You mentioned the open source models in China.
In the U.S., we're focused on these closed models like Claude from Anthropic, ChatGPT from OpenAI, and all the money that's being spent, the billions and billions of dollars that are being invested in these closed models are really at odds with this open source concept.
