It took me decades to say, okay, I'll just be me.

Because I don't want the audience to have expectations.
Like if I put on something nice, then they're going to be like, oh, we're getting a real show.
But if I just come like this, nah, I got a notepad.
I just walked off the street.
That's why I'm doing the Oscars.
I'm going to host the Oscars in a slanket.
In the breaks, I just lie down.
You know, I never knew this.
I mean, I was thinking about you yesterday and today.
That makes me very uncomfortable.
