Yeah.

What's a real discipline too.

Cause, uh, on Saturday night live, they used to say we do all our weird sketches in the week.

And then on Saturday they would say, come in in the morning and write weekend update jokes.

And just to supplement, you know, whatever Herb Sargent and whoever was at the update desk was doing at the time.

Um, it was Dennis Miller, I think just, um,

And you'd sit there and you'd just be going through the news and you started, I started to learn, right, this is something I hadn't really done before, but I see the game, there's a game to this and you just got to try and figure it out.

But it was a great discipline.

And so you do that.

And then what happens after you're done with the Chris Rock show, what was the next step?

Steve Martin had a show, um, the Downer Channel.

And I had a meeting with him and I'm like, it's Steve Martin.

I'm going to, I'm going to do it.

And when he pitched me the idea of the show, I was like, oh God, this is awful.

This is going to be awful.

And I don't even know if I'm right for this.

I'm like, but it's Steve Martin.

So I was like, yes.

And we did the Downer Channel.
