And you're kind of summing up why –

in that you have to talk to knowledgeable people, and those knowledgeable people will have different preferences than you, and they will have different hearing, yes, though I think the different preferences thing, it probably has more to do with their experience and all that, and you have to filter through all that.

You can't shortcut it because there are a lot of examples like the one that you talked about where you put –

you know, gear piece a with gear, you know, you put DAC a with amplifier one, they sound really good together.

You put that same DAC a with amplifier two and it's less satisfying to you, but maybe the opposite is true for somebody else.

Yeah.

And like, yeah, there's, you can't look at numbers on a chart and, and know that that's how it's going to happen.

Right.

So how did we not go – so other than the synergy issue, which I think you spoke to there, how did we not go – or what parts were left unsaid or that we need to go deeper on in the previous episode about system building because you mentioned some in there?

Yeah, yeah.

So any other areas there?

Yeah, well, here I can hear the snake oil charmers or snake oil screamers already.

I guess people like you and me would be more the snake oil charmers, so to speak.

Yeah, because you're right.

System noise, like that kind of stuff, that can really have a very parasitic effect on the listening experience and so forth.

And like

And a lot of people, they're like power filtering or regeneration or whatever it is, snake oil, right?

Sure.

That's the claim.

But I think a lot of that comes from a misunderstanding of what it's doing and why it's needed.
