Yeah, fact or something.
So this is where we get into the fact that I don't actually know anything.
And most of the things that I accumulate are like secondhand from some of my friends who are really good poets.
And this particular idea of blind spots was told to me by Anthony, an ex-guru over there.
He'd listened to a podcast by Ray Armantrout.
And she was talking about, I was going to get onto this later, so you haven't actually stuck to the script there.
Which is like, it's... Michael, it's a good way to sort of... It's a good way for us to ease into the conversation.
We, like...
I guess there's like an emotional truth that you're trying to get at or a picture that you're trying to get at.
And what Ray Armantrout says is that often the intensity of trying to look at that directly or in the eye creates a kind of blind spot, right?
And so what she does in her work is say the blind spots there, the emotional truth is behind it.
And she's trying to kind of like,
peek around the right, peek over the top, and she's kind of doing that.
So you're getting all of these sort of like different angles, which I guess builds up a picture of that emotional truth or whatever it is you're trying to get to without having to look at it quite as directly.
So again, like Anthony straight to Jack, like there's nothing of me in this entire text really.
