Wow.

I think I realized that when I was actually working under somebody else's shadow.

I built five franchises, real estate brokerages, with nothing.

There was no building.

There was no agents.

There was no staff.

It was literally just a business owner who said, hey, I'm going to raise capital.

Can you help me?

launch a business?

And I said, absolutely.

And at that time, I really didn't know what I was getting myself into.

And after I look back, you know, I was like, wow, I just helped build five real estate brokerages.

And I think I started believing in myself that if I can build someone else's empire, I can build my own.

And that's when I decided to say, you know what, thank you so much, but I'm not going to launch any more brokerages.

I'm going to focus on building the Wendy Davis group.

And that was in 2020.

So it took a lot of courage to do that.

Yes.

Well, I was definitely scared because, you know, you never know what's going to happen in the real estate industry.

You know, this being in the real estate business, it goes up, it goes down.
