Hey everyone, it's Wendy K. Laidlaw and as always, I do hope that this podcast message finds you well.
It's this podcast or this audio is about holding the mirror and I'm going to explain more about what that means in a minute.
But firstly, it's been a crazy few weeks again.
We're always so have so many pressures put upon us in this fast craze world that we live in these days.
But anyway, this podcast is here now and although it was supposed to go out last week, here it is.
So I wanted to talk about holding the mirror.
The phrase meaning keeping an awareness, holding the mirror to ourselves, keeping an awareness of ourselves.
You know, are we giving ourselves essential self-care, appropriate rest, eating little and often, eating lots of green foods, keeping hydrated, as well as obviously holding firm on being treated fairly and kindly by others.
So also holding the mirror to others who might be bullish,
Pernickety, pushy, relentless, bullying, unkind, ungrateful, self-absorbed and downright toxic.
If you have been listening to me for a while, you know I talk about writing in a journal every morning as you wake up and how I do that to ensure that I'm always paying attention to all that is going on inside.
After all these decades of various ailments, I want to make sure of the fact I remain healthy and do not allow any cobwebs or fungus to grow anywhere in my life.
In our increasingly fast pace and highly demanding society, it is essential to try and keep things slow so that it can be measured and tracked.
